The 12th Annual gathering officially beginning Thursday night at Robbs again found several new guys making the weekend for all the fun...........
Thursday and Friday Nights at Robbs Resort......after all the e-mail and talk, it made for two wonderful evenings as all these old Teke House actives showed up out in the middle of Eldorado National Forest at Robbs Resort for a couple of wets and dinner.....a closed house party ...and before you knew it, attendees had bought the bar with the money carrying over into Saturday night as well......plenty of BS, adult beverages and dinner.....
Does this crowd look familiar.....
And there is no obvious food fight going on.....very civilized......certainly a lot of "light dinner conversation".......
Robbs Resort has proven to be a great venue and a near perfect addition to our original idea for a small gathering hosted in a mountain cabin.............

The Friday Night Chili feed was outstanding this year, due in no small part to Peter Cowper....Chief Chili Chef.. (note the official Bunny Hutch chef's costume as well)....whose diligence....spent nearly an hour while I looked at the ceiling in the Safeway chili and herbs section in Pollack Pines trying to decide exactly what he was going to put in his creation this year......and obviously this maximum effort was worth it as in spite of the large amount of chili prepared, this hungry crowd left nothing for Saturday......
Always nice to have a little special red wine to go with Chili........
The Bunny Hutch...............Sam Brewer and Rich Hasper....hosts of the Saturday Night Tri-Tip BBQ dinner on the West deck of the cabin at Gerle Creek......here are various shots of the "Hutch," it's many visitors (Bloody Marys are very good) and the BBQ activities leading into the Saturday night entertainment. The final picture is of Rich Hasper, hard at it, making the Saturday Night Tri-Tip BBQ happen.....his brother in the action Sam Brewer is in the hutch looking after the particulars of the annual meal..................
Richie Howe/Gerle Creek Memorial Golf Tournament
Tournament competitors......quite a competitive crowd as well....everyone to a person likes the newest location down on the creek sand right next to Gerle Creek and the new camp area which we moved to this year......in the past years, we were out on the "Flats" and because even our early arrivals on Tuesday this year, could not secure our usual spot, they cornered the new location right on the creek......now that we have sampled this area, everyone likes it much better...plenty of parking....right on the creek and immediately adjacent to the golf course....couldn't be better....
