Early Brattland Family History Journal of Andrew A. Brattland
Jon Brattland graduated from San
Diego State University in May 2004. He has a car detailing business and
has purchased Quiznos franchise.
The
Quiznos (Space 8C)is located in Winding Walk at Otay Ranch Mall in the EastLake area of South County San Diego on the Eastern side of the new SR-125
Toll Road.Jon bought a new home
in El Cajon in 2001 and bought a second home in Yuma, Arizona in December, 2004.
He and Eric Wahlgren have started a limousine business in San
Diego. They own two custom limos built around Chrysler 300 Hemi Sedan, including fly
up doors and an ultra exotic interior, as well as a stretch Hummer which can
handle up to 20 passengers and a Chrysler sedan to handle car service work. Early customers have included the
professional fighter, Terry Norris. The company name is Elite
Image Limousines, Inc. He is 28.

Alan Brattland is 25. Alan works
with his brother in the car detail business.
He
is in his thirteenth year plus since his Kidney
transplant. He likes to play his guitar, swim, play computer games
and listen to music.


Elizabeth (Tudy) Brattland
is 20
and is a sophomore at Cuyamaca College in El Cajon, California. Elizabeth
enjoys playing with her dog, Elliott (The Labrador puppy, 90 pounds worth!). and her
three cats, Genie, Alice and Sarge. She also looks after two dwarf rabbits.
She works part time with FOCAS
www.focas-sandiego.org , Friends of
County Animal Shelters and is working in their cattery in Point Loma at the
PETSMART Store. She works independently looking after abandoned and homeless
cats in the cattery.
Elizabeth loves to draw and color, read, play games, swim, computers, catch insects.
When I say she likes bugs, she really does. She has a very active
caterpillar collection which she is watching as they grow into Butterflies in her special
bug box which she received from her Aunt Karen Brattland. During Easter Vacation
of 2005, Elizabeth and some classmates from Valhalla High School visited Italy
and France.

Patricia Ann Murphy Brattland
has been busy looking after all of the above and me and very heavy into research
on the Dumnas and her Murphy family pioneer heritage in Central Valley of
California. Pat is also very proud of her Native American heritage
as a California Dumna Yokuts Indian.
She is the Vice
Chairman of the CDF Native American Advisory Commission in California. She is a member of the
Dumna Band.



Joy Brattland is very
busy with her church
activities, friends, book club, quilting, reading, bridge,
PEO Chapter
VE, occasional travel, home and civic activities in Carmichael, a suburb of Sacramento.
Joy celebrated her 80th Birthday on July 3, 2002 with a special party put
on by her family at her church on July 6, 2002. The gentleman sitting
next to mom is my uncle, Lt Col Harold A. Brattland USAF-Ret, a former Air Force
fixed wing and rotary wing pilot who flew Sikorsky H-3s (Jolly Greens)
before I did. Sikorsky H-3s run in the Brattland Family. He is my late
father's brother.
Karen Brattland
is living and working in Germany for the US Army
She
works at Panzer on the US Army base n Stuttgart and lives in a small country
village, Mottlingen, outside of Stuttgart .
